So on Saturday, we did some recording! “O Great God” is actually the bridge of a song called “Unapproachable Light” written by Ben Scott and myself, combined with a hook I wrote a while ago. This is just a rough demo recorded with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 into an Apple iPad 2 using Garageband, and this track would serve as an introduction to a time of worship. Thanks to Chris and Ben for the help!

All was going really well – we had tracked guitar and vocals, and were just recording the cajon and keyboard when… We realised all the audio had been recorded with masses of latency! Thanks Apple Logic!
Back to the drawing board!
So, last Sunday (11th of September) I got back to leading worship at church (Holy Trinity Hazlemere) after our summer break.

“At Your Name” was really the right song for the time, and I hope we sing this one again soon!
