About Project Worship

What’s this about?
It’s about new songs, written by worship leaders for worship leaders, that need to be heard by the wider church, and used by those who are looking for new songs to bless the church with.

So there will be new worship songs available on this website?
Yes, under RESOURCES, you can download the music and a lead sheet (chords and lyrics)

Is it free?
Yes – and if you are concerned about copyright issues, you will be able to see who owns the copyright at the footer of each release

So, who wrights these songs?
A variety of worship leaders who serve the church by leading on Sundays and at events. There will be about pages on the writers in the future

There’s no music on here yet – when will the first project worship release be?
When we have finished recording the first song

Sept 2011

Well, it’s been a while since I wrote on here, but things are moving! Been co-writing, and there are currently 5 songs which will be recorded in some way, maybe there will be more!

All of the songs so far have been written with others. I think this is a great way to make songs with a wider appeal, the view is to get songs which we are not afraid to use in church!

Will update with a demo at some point!

Project worship is the name I am using for an up and coming CD project.

The idea with this CD is to take what has gone before, all I have been shown and all I have learnt, and create something for God, and for the church.

At the moment plans are loose, but what I can say is that I am consulting with God, writing with others, and getting a feel for this CD.

One of the things I have never done is taken worship music and produced it in a studio, with professionals. This is what I would like to do with this project.
